Frequently Asked Questions

Where will the city be located?

A number of sites were vetted before launching this project and we did not end up selecting one. We came to the conclusion that a final decision could not be made until the energy, agricultural, and technology needs have been determined. As we intend to use as much new, carbon-friendly technology as possible, a final location will be selected once the recommendations of the committees are in.

What is the purpose of the Committees?

Each committee member will be carefully selected from the pool of applicants for their expertise and experience in their selected Key Development Area. Members will work together to explore the variety of technology and design options that have been submitted through the application process and make recommendations to the Board. Recommendations can include offers of services from nominating companies and will be used to build the overall development plan for the city.

At this time, we anticipate committees will run for six (6) months. Any modifications on time or responsibility will be discussed with each committee member and appropriate solutions will be developed as the Project commences.

Committees will develop their own meeting schedule and will be paid a nominal fee. Over the next several weeks we will be distributing detail on each committees activities to potential applicants via email.

What is the purpose of the Application Fee?

Because of the significant exposure and potential for monetization under this project, applicants must provide evidence of their ability to deliver on their reliability and competitiveness in their respective fields.

The application fee serves to validate that your company, research, or technologies can be incorporated into a complete systemic solution and that the system’s performance and operation are able to be met under anticipated operating scenarios.

Will there be additional opportunities to participate?

Depending on the scope of applications that are received, there may be additional opportunities to bid on various aspects of city development as it begins. Building a city is a large, multi-year project. As stages complete and vacancies are identified, bids for work will be posted along the usual channels.

How will this project help my company or organization?

Think of this city as a showcase for the potential green technology can have on the world. We have amassed a global group of financiers for this project. Each aspect of development will be assessed for its potential for monetization on a global scale. Our Board will work with yours to commoditize each technology for distribution.
