North America’s City of the Future.
Prosperity.
Lifestyle.
Culture.
Health.
Technology.
It’s time for North America to join the urban development revolution.
Using cutting edge technology to foster prosperity and quality of life, the Net-Zero Project brings together experts from around the world to build the world’s first carbon-neutral city.

This website will become a hub for applicants, committee members, and others interested in building sustainable cities to access tools, resources and expertise.
News and updates will be posted here as the Net-Zero City Project advances.
Project Milestones
-
Applications opened on November 15, 2023 to corporations, researchers, and innovators in the green tech space and will remain open until February 15, 2024.
The application is designed to create an even playing field for all qualified groups/individuals who are in the green tech space or sustainable living space.
Only applicants’ recommended technologies will be considered at this stage of the plan. The technology may be new, or already have been implemented in other urban areas.
Successful applicants will join a committee for their area of expertise, where they will provide a range of recommendations based on information provided by the Net-Zero City Project board for the development of a carbon neutral city.
-
Committees will select a member to present their recommendations to the board.
All recommendations will be evaluated as part of the overall plan, and the Board may return to the committee requests to create bid-projects to fill any gaps in the overall development plan.
The Board will work with the committees to commoditize each aspect of city development and ensure alignment with other committees’ recommendations.
-
Development of the city will begin. Policy makers and other parties will work within the guidelines to develop plans for cultural integration and value for residents of the city, while developing plans for future expansion.
