Providing Investment for Green Technologies and Opportunities for Emerging Growth Sectors
The Net Zero City Project Corporation will be providing capital for the development of the city. Our goal is to build a profitable, sustainable city that is driven by corporate partnerships and enhanced by support from public policy developers. We hope that through these partnerships the city itself will become a hub for emerging growth sectors in sustainable development.
As we engage with fund managers, money managers, banks, and other sources of capital from around the world, we are also tracking potential investments for the Corporation through due diligence conducted on applications to the Net-Zero City Project.
The Board will prioritize applications for potential investment in the following order:
Technologies and services that are recommended by applicants and/or committee members.
Technologies and services that are already receiving real-world support and have produced results on other developments.
Technologies and services that provide significant carbon-reduction capabilities for the city.
Technologies and services that fulfill development requirements unmet by applicants or committee members.
Many services that can lead to net-zero carbon emissions are already being implemented in small scale developments or upgrades to developments around the world. By partnering with the Net-Zero City Corporation, these companies have the opportunity to prove their viability in the world of sustainable development by implementing their solutions at scale. These corporations will receive support in the form of payment for services rendered, or advanced partnership solutions as required,
For those companies and technologies that have been developed, but are not yet implemented, or are moving through testing phase, the Corporation is willing to provide equity or debt investment as needed.
The Net-Zero City Project was developed to determine by peer-review which set of technologies will coordinate to create a carbon-neutral environment for the city within the seven (7) major categories listed in the chart below. These categories are a further clarification to the Key Development Areas outlined in the application form for the Net-Zero City Project.
It’s important that each group or individual who applies to be a part of this project is:
Qualified to participate.
Can afford to participate (aka, their company has enough money to put into both participating on the committee and/or panel, and to implement any technology that they are recommending be used as part of the project).
The applicant’s company is at minimum partially financed, or they have received grant funding to move their projects along.
